When you create an account: your email address and a hashed password (bcrypt). When you run a search: the query text, timestamp, and results are stored so you can re-download them later. When you pay: Stripe handles payment processing; we store only your Stripe customer ID and plan status — never your card number.
We do not use third-party analytics cookies. We do not track you across other sites.
We do not collect your name, phone number, company name, IP address logs beyond what our hosting provider retains for security, or any behavioral tracking data beyond what is necessary to run the product.
Your account data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (infrastructure in the EU / US depending on region). Passwords are bcrypt-hashed and never stored in plaintext. Search results are stored indefinitely so you can re-download past searches; you can delete them from your account page.
Trovo is operated from Germany. If you are in the EU, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Email hi@trovo.to to request a data export or deletion. We will respond within 72 hours.
Legal basis for processing: contract performance (running the service you signed up for) and legitimate interest (fraud prevention, security).
We do not sell your data to any third party.
Your account and all associated data are retained as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all data, email hi@trovo.to with the subject line "Delete my account." We will confirm deletion within 7 days.
If we make material changes, we will notify you via the email on your account before they take effect.
